INTRODUCTION

The Arts cluster consists of 5 faculties, namely Faculty of Language and Communication, Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, Faculty of Economic and Business, Faculty of Applied & Creative Arts and Faculty of Cognitive Sciences & Human Development.

It strives to provide a platform for researchers in the cluster to collaborate across the various disciplines in UNIMAS. This cluster will be guided by the following aims and objectives:

To encourage and initiate multidisciplinary research in medicine and health sciences with the following strategies:

• To inculcate multidisciplinary research and publication culture among UNIMAS staff
• To invite UNIMAS staff to engage in multidisciplinary research
• To initiate space for staff from different faculties to discuss multidisciplinary collaborations.
• To form sub groups related to Education, Health, Government, Communication and Management
• To conduct research related with Health, Communication/Literacy, sustainable health and wellbeing and Technical disruption
• To collaborate with local and International partners (Public and private).
• To apply International funding/grant
