RESEARCH CHAIR GRANTS
The Research Chair Grants are provided to UNIMAS to host research projects or programmes in selected research areas that are important to Malaysia and the state of Sarawak. There are currently eight (8) research chairs that have been established to carry out specific and strategic research priorities in accordance with the niche areas in UNIMAS; namely Biodiversity and Environmental Conservation, Sustainable Community Transformation, and information, Communication and Creative Technology.
